Jonathan Spiess, Bexley baseball
The junior pitched his second no-hitter this month, throwing seven innings, striking out 13 and walking one in a 14-0 win Thursday over Chillicothe. He also pitched a no-hitter April 1 against Worthington Christian.
Beau Polen, Norwayne baseball
The sophomore entered a tie game against Waynedale in the bottom of the seventh and pitched a shutout inning, then scored the go-ahead run in the eighth and closed the game for the win in extra innings. He earned another win pitching against Medina Buckeye on Saturday and got two hits and an RBI at the plate.
Ben Elliott, University School baseball
Led the Preppers to an 8-3 win over Firestone with three hits and an RBI.
Max Klare, St. Xavier baseball
Had four hits and an RBI in a 16-5 Bombers win over Shadyside.
Sawyer Solitaria, St. Ignatius baseball
The Ohio State commit had three hits, two RBIs and a home run in a 7-6 comeback win over Hoban after trailing 6-3 heading into the seventh inning.
Jake Hoverstock, Hillsdale baseball
Ignited the offense with three doubles and drove in seven runs to push past Northwestern 17-7.
Anthony Shultz, Perry baseball
In six innings pitched, Schultz struck out seven and allowed two hits in a 10-0 win over Madison.
Christian Commisso, Defiance baseball
Had a three-run shot in the first inning and finished with three RBIs to help defeat St. Mary’s 6-2.
Alex Macke, Ottawa-Glandorf baseball
Had a home run in a 13-2 win in five innings over Elida.
AJ Havrilla, Canfield baseball
The Ohio State commit went 3-for-4 with four RBIs to help the Cardinals to a 9-5 win over Howland to improve to 6-2 this season.
Joey Canzoni, Walsh Jesuit baseball
Had three hits including the walk-off winner as the Warriors defeated Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 2-1.
Renae Cunningham, Heath softball
Cunningham improved to 7-0 on the mound this season and homered in a 3-1 win over Licking Heights.
Isabella Dalton, Hillsdale softball
Went 3-for-4, had four RBIs and hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning to help rout Northwestern 6-1.
Calli Thompson, Perry softball
She finished the game 5-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, two runs scored and five RBIs to lead the Pirates to a 22-0 rout over Lakeside.
Carter Wachtel, Triway softball
Struck out 17 and allowed just one hit as Triway defeated Madison 3-1.
Kendall Manos, Hilliard Davidson softball
Had two RBIs including a home run and a double vs. Olentangy Orange.
Tyne Braatz, Westlake softball
Hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs to help the Demons win their fourth in a row, defeating Parma 13-4.
Sydney McKinney, Dublin Jerome softball
Hit a two-run homer in the first inning and had multiple hits to lead the Celtics to an 11-8 win over Thomas Worthington.
Mia Strizak, Berea-Midpark softball
Hit a sacrifice fly to center field to drive in two runs and win the game in walk-off fashion, 4-3 over Avon.
Syd Davis, Olentangy Berlin softball
Led her team going 4-for-4 at the plate, hitting two doubles and five RBIs in a 16-2 victory over Olentangy.
Quinn Kuhkman, Big Walnut softball
Drove in four runs and racked up three hits to seal a 15-1 win over Franklin Heights.
Juliana Benjamin, Rocky River softball
Hit a grand slam in a 15-5 loss to North Olmsted.
