Jonathan Spiess, Bexley baseball
The junior pitched his second no-hitter this month, throwing seven innings, striking out 13 and walking one in a 14-0 win Thursday over Chillicothe. He also pitched a no-hitter April 1 against Worthington Christian.

At the plate, CF Ryan Bernstein, 1B Cobby Rubin, and SS Josiah Old combine for 9 total hits, including a Wendy’s special 4-4 on the day for Bernstein.
Beau Polen, Norwayne baseball
The sophomore entered a tie game against Waynedale in the bottom of the seventh and pitched a shutout inning, then scored the go-ahead run in the eighth and closed the game for the win in extra innings. He earned another win pitching against Medina Buckeye on Saturday and got two hits and an RBI at the plate.
BB: @beauapolen slammed the door shut, tossing 2 shutout frames, delivered a clutch RBI single to ignite a 7-run 8th inning and Norwayne swept Waynedale for the first time in recent memory in the regular season with a 10-3 (8-innings) victory. Polen struck out one #TDR

Ben Elliott, University School baseball
Led the Preppers to an 8-3 win over Firestone with three hits and an RBI.

The Ohio State commit had three hits, two RBIs and a home run in a 7-6 comeback win over Hoban after trailing 6-3 heading into the seventh inning.

Ignited the offense with three doubles and drove in seven runs to push past Northwestern 17-7.

The Ohio State commit went 3-for-4 with four RBIs to help the Cardinals to a 9-5 win over Howland to improve to 6-2 this season.

Had three hits including the walk-off winner as the Warriors defeated Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 2-1.

Isabella Dalton, Hillsdale softball
Went 3-for-4, had four RBIs and hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning to help rout Northwestern 6-1.

Hit a two-run homer in the first inning and had multiple hits to lead the Celtics to an 11-8 win over Thomas Worthington.

Hit a sacrifice fly to center field to drive in two runs and win the game in walk-off fashion, 4-3 over Avon.

Hit a grand slam in a 15-5 loss to North Olmsted.
