Dior Johnson, elite 2022 point guard, decommitting from Oregon Ducks men's basketball

The Oregon Ducks men's basketball program lost a big-time signee Thursday, as Dior Johnson, the nation's No. 7 point guard, de-committed from the program.
The news was first reported by ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Sources close to Johnson's recruitment confirm that he and Oregon are parting ways.

Johnson attended 10 different high schools during his prep career and de-committed from Syracuse prior to his verbal commitment to the Ducks.
Oregon's 2022 recruiting class consists of three pledges - five-star center Kel'el Ware, junior college guard Tyrone Williams and junior college combo guard Brennan Rigsby.
Possibly as a contingency plan, the Duck signed a pair of transfer guards this offseason, South Carolina's Jermaine Couisnard and Colorado's Keeshawn Barthelemy.
Dana Altman's crew also returns All-Pac-12-caliber point guard Will Richardson.
