KJ Bolden, Florida State 5-star commit, on win over LSU: 'Why not FSU?'

Buford (Georgia) five-star safety KJ Bolden was clearly happy with Florida State's big win over LSU

The biggest game Week 1 game in college football was unquestionable Sunday night's matchup between the No. 5 LSU Tigers and No. 8 Florida State Seminoles.

When the dust settled, Florida State came away with a 45-24 victory in a statement win that could move the 'Noles to No. 2 in next week's polls.

It didn't take long for top recruits to weigh in.

Buford (Georgia) five-star safety and Florida State pledge KJ Bolden made his message clear.

"Why not FSU?" he wrote.

After fellow Florida State five-star defensive back pledge Charles Lester III tweeted out pictures of the duo at the game, Bolden added another message.

"Can’t wait to be on the field with my boy," he wrote.

That's encouraging given that multiple programs are working to lure Bolden away from the 'Noles.

That note is particularly meaningful given that Buford teammate Jadon Perlotte, a Georgia Bulldogs pledge and the nation's No. 4 linebacker, has indicated he is a package deal with Bolden and that the duo intends to sign together.

That has led to widespread speculation that Perlotte is ready to flip, and he added fuel to that fire naming the Seminoles his co-leader recently

Regardless, it seems Bolden is quite happy with Sunday night's result.

And that is obviously good news for Mike Norvell's program.
