Ryan Wingo committed to Texas, but his dad said he hasn't signed, implying there's more to come

It has been a busy stretch on the recruiting calendar.

In fact, according to Rivals' rankings, there isn't a five-star recruit left on the board.

While the other sites disagree with that evaluation, it certainly goes a long way in highlighting just how hectic things have been on the recruiting trail.

Perhaps the most noteworthy uncommitted prospect is Salpointe Catholic (Arizona) edge-rusher Elijah Rushing.

Following his decommitment from Arizona, many speculated a quick flip to Oregon was in the cards.

The Ducks, I'm told, remain the overwhelming favorite to secure Rushing's commitment, but he is in no hurry.

Oregon fans should expect it to go their way in the end.

“It was super tough," Wingo said of the decision. "It came down to Mizzou and Texas and it was super, super hard having to pass up on Mizzou knowing it’s close to home, feel like home, everything like that. Like I said, I’m kind of creating my own path for myself going up there and being able to go to work.”

"For sure, I'll obviously accept (Missouri's recruitment)," Ryan Wingo confirmed. "Like I said, I'm locked in with Texas right now. Obviously, (Missouri) can recruit me still, but I'm locked in with Texas right now."

Despite the nation's No. 1 edge-rusher's commitment to the Arizona Wildcats this summer, Dan Lanning's coaching staff has continued to recruit the bluechip prospect.

That effort gained steam earlier this month when defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi attended one of Rushing's games, which quickly led to a decommitment.

The first commitment in Washington's 2025 class, Jackson Kollock chose the Huskies over offers from Cal, Colorado, Minnesota and several others. Through 18 career games as the starting quarterback for the Breakers, Kollock has thrown 70 touchdown passes to just six interceptions. He's also rushed for 11 touchdowns during that time.

- 5-star guard Asa Newell commits to Georgia

The 6-foot-9, 205-pound left-handed power forward is a consensus 5-star and On3 gives his highest rating: No. 1 power forward and No. 8 overall prospect in the nation and No. 2 overall prospect in Florida.
