Samuels led Garfield to a repeat state title, beating Lake Washington in the finals; Conerly Jr., also a five-star offensive lineman, led Rainier Beach to the 3A title game.

The Class 3A all-tournament teams were released Tuesday, as voted on by members of the media.

Garfield's Malia Samuels was voted tournament MVP on the girls side after leading the two-seeded Bulldogs to a 3A state championship, beating Lake Washington in the title game.

Josh Conerly Jr. won tournament MVP on the boys side after leading four-seeded Rainier Beach to a 3A state runner-up finish, losing to Auburn 58-48.
