Tornados roll up 446 total yards, led by Kyler Ronquillo's game-high 126 rushing yards, in defending league championship

PURDY, Wash. - The No. 1 Yelm Tornados accomplished their first goal of the 2022 season: Win the 3A SSC title.

The visiting Tornados walloped Peninsula, 58-14, on Friday night.

Portland State University commit Kyler Ronquillo rushed for a game-high 126 yards. Teammate William Carreto added 95 yards in picking up the slack for injured starter Brayden Platt (ankle).
