Woodinville girls, Mount Si boys continue extended winning success in league tournament

KIRKLAND, Wash. - The throne seats in 4A KingCo basketball have gotten plenty toasty.

For the sixth consecutive time, the No. 2 Woodinville girls won the league tournament, this time a 56-46 win over No. 6 Eastlake in a rematch of last year's championship.

And the second-raked Mount Si boys - the 2020 state champions - won league title No. 4 in a row with a 71-62 over No. 7 Skyline.

Both games were held at Lake Washington High School after the original tournament site - Bellevue College - was canceled because of a water leak around campus.
