Pair of 2026 Prospects Enter Transfer Portal, Will Test NBA Draft

In this story:
Even ahead of the NCAA basketball season coming to an end, there has been plenty of player movement.
Connecticut, Illinois, Arizona and Michigan still have to meet and determine the national champion before the transfer portal officially opens, but multiple big names have already announced their intentions to find a new home.
Recently, two players who have solid chances to be picked in 2026 revealed that will enter the transfer portal while testing the NBA Draft waters. Former Kansas big man Flory Bidunga and former Wake Forrest guard Juke Harris will each take the aforementioned route, which is still relatively new to the college basketball and NBA space.
There have been a number of players to take similar paths over the past few years, including Michigan's Yaxel Lendeborg, who has helped the Wolverines to a Final Four appearence after testing the 2025 NBA Draft.
Lendeborg instead elected to transfer from UAB to Michigan, and will likely be a top-20 pick this summer.
Bidunga and Harris could be similar stories to Lendeborg, as each player would likely be picked in 2026, but could stand to make substanial money in college through NIL while also improving their draft stock. Additionally, the 2027 class is believed to be less talented than this year's group.
Players can participate in the NBA Combine and hear feedback from teams, and prospects have until May 27 to withdraw their name from the class and return to college.
Bidunga's decision comes after a strong sophomore year that saw the former five-star prospect average 13.3 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.6 blocks per game, shooting 64% from the field.
Listed at 6-foot-10 and 235 pounds, Bidunga's defensive upside is intriguing. The Democratic Republic of Congo-born center is a good athlete and very mobile for his size, and has solid length to block shots and defend the rim.
On offense, Bidunga's athleticism makes him a dangerous lob threat and strong rebounder. According to EvanMiya.com, a college basketball database utilized by NCAA teams, Bidunga is the second-best player to ever enter the transfer portal, trailing only Lendeborg.
Flory Bidunga isn't just the best player in the portal this year, he's the 2nd best rated transfer ever at https://t.co/cegyfz96ax.

The only player to receive a higher transfer rating was Yaxel Lendeborg last year. He turned out to be pretty good. pic.twitter.com/aTYhe65PqA
It seems that Bidunga would likely be an early second-round pick in the 2026 class, but if he performs well at the combine or an NBA team believes in his potential, Bidunga could rise into the first round, if he elects to remain in the draft.
Harris' decision comes after a breakout sophomore year for the former four-star recruit. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 21.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 44.4% from the field and 33.2% from 3-point range.
Like Bidunga, Harris would likely be a second-round pick this summer if he chooses to stay in the 2026 class. Both players will be highly sought after in the transfer portal, as well.
