NBA Draft: Prospects to Watch in Tonight’s Sweet 16 Matchups

A few prospects to watch in tonight’s slate of NCAA Tournament games.

March Madness is officially back tonight, with the Sweet 16 kicking off with four games.

NBA Draft prospects have fared well so far, with plenty still littering the remaining 16 teams. Here are a few of the top prospects to look out for tonight:

Donovan Clingan and Stephon Castle, UConn

UConn’s dynamic draft duo again takes center stage tonight against fifth-seeded San Diego State, likely their toughest matchup yet.

So far, the 7-foot-2 Clingan and versatile combo guard Castle have both done well in the tournament, boosting their stock in the process. The center posted 14 points, 14 boards and eight blocks in his last outing, and Castle stated off with a 14-point, five-rebound, four-assist performance of his own.

Tonight, they’ll look to cement themselves as two of the best players in this tournament with a trip to the Elite Eight.

PJ Hall, Clemson

A 6-foot-10 big with the ability to make an impact from behind the arc, Clemson’s PJ Hall has long been on NBA radars, but he’s now able to garner even more attention in the tournament.

He’s posted double-digit scoring in both games — 14 points in round one and 11 in the second — but has yet to fully hit his stride. If he does, the Tigers could be a hard out.

Tonight, at 6:09 p.m., Hall and No. 6 Clemson will take on the juggernaught that is No. 2 Arizona, which has the likes of Caleb Love, Kylan Boswell, Oumar Ballo and more.
