B/R Gives Updated Phoenix Suns Trade Targets

The Phoenix Suns - along with every other team in the NBA - received three updated trade targets with less than a month to go until the NBA trade deadline hits.

We're less than a month away from the NBA's trade deadline, and the Phoenix Suns have their work cut out for them.

Currently sitting at 21-21 on the season, Phoenix is still looking to offload Jae Crowder for help sooner rather than later.

We've seen various names come and go through the rumor mill, but the clock begins to tick on Suns general manager James Jones to try and improve his team.

In their latest article giving updated trade targets to each team, Bleacher Report listed the following three players for Phoenix:

Updated Targets: F Bojan Bogdanović, F Kyle Kuzma, G/F Eric Gordon

Kyle Kuzma

"The Suns' depth has been tested as of late, with injuries to players like Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Cam Johnson all taking their toll this season," said Greg Swartz.

"Phoenix shouldn't lose hope yet, however, as this is still a championship-caliber team when healthy, especially with one more deadline addition.

"The Suns have the draft assets to go after stars like Bogdanović and Kuzma, both capable of starting at power forward for Phoenix and improving an offense that ranks dead last in the NBA over the last 10 games.

"Gordon can fill a lot of roles as a scorer and playmaker off the bench, helping out if Booker and Paul miss more time down the stretch."

None of these names are new in the world of Suns trade rumors, as Phoenix has reportedly shown interest in all three players.

Bogdanovic has long been linked with the Suns, although Kuzma is the biggest name out of the trio. Gordon has long been considered one of the better three-point shooters in the NBA.

2022-23 Stats

BOGDANOVIC: 21 PPG, 2.7 APG, 3.6 RPG, 41.6 3P%

KUZMA: 21.3 PPG, 3.8 APG, 7.5 RPG, 33.8 3P%

GORDON: 11.5 PPG, 2.4 APG, 2.0 RPG, 36 3P%

Phoenix might be able to package a deal that involves Crowder, another tradeable contract such as Landry Shamet and perhaps a draft pick or two to land a strong player that can help push them over the hump.
