Golden Tate was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2007 Amateur Draft, but he decided to play baseball and football for the University of Notre Dame, where he was a Biletnikoff Award Winner as the nation's outstanding college football receiver. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft and was part of the Super Bowl-winning team in 2013. Since his retirement from the NFL he’s ventured into both golf and pickleball. He’s a family man with three kids: Londyn, Golden and Isaiah, and wife, Elise.
