The SEC Women's Basketball Tournament bracket is set, and the Alabama Crimson Tide will plays its first game on Thursday, March 2.

Kristy Curry's squad will be the No. 6 seed after losing the regular season finale to Ole Miss inside Coleman Coliseum.

Alabama will play the winner of the opening day matchup between the Kentucky Wildcats and Florida Gators.

Earlier in the year, Alabama defeated Kentucky 72-65 on the road. Brittany Davis led the Tide's four double-digit scorers with 22 points and all players with 11 rebounds. Aaliyah Nye also scored 16 points while shooting 4-for-7 on 3-pointers.

Against the Gators, Alabama lost 81-77 on the road despite a strong second half performance. Davis again led the team with 16 points and eight rebounds while Nye and Hannah Barber had 15 points each. The biggest reason Alabama lost that game was the 22-point performance by KK Deans and the Tide giving up 19 points off of 20 turnovers.

Should Alabama win its Thursday evening matchup, it will face 3-seeded Tennessee in a Friday evening matchup. Alabama lost to Tennessee on the road earlier in the year 89-76.

The SEC Tournament will begin on Wednesday with a game between Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, followed by Kentucky vs. Florida. On Thursday, the first game will begin at 11 a.m. CT with the next game starting 25 minutes after the first one ends. The evening game will begin at 5 p.m. CT with the next game following 25 minutes after that. The Thursday schedule will be repeated for Friday.

The first semifinal game will be on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CT. The title game will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT

The first three rounds will be on SEC Network, the semifinals will be on ESPNU, and the SEC Tournament Championship will be on ESPN.
