- The women's 200 medley relay team of Gaby Van Brunt, Avery Wiseman, Kailyn Winter and Cadence Vincent combined for a 1:36.18 to finish 16th overall and earn Second Team All-America honors in the race.
- After opening night Alabama is 20th with two points.
- The Alabama rowing team was honored by the Big 12 as the Third Varsity Eight+ crew received Boat of the Week.
- 3V8+ crew was one of five Crimson Tide boats to claim a first-place finish last weekend against Wisconsin and North Carolina, with all three teams receiving votes in the Pocock/CRCA Week 1 poll.
- Alabama golfer Johnathan Griz was named SEC Men's Golfer of the Week
- Griz earned his first collegiate victory leading Alabama to the team title at the Linger Longer Invitational for a second consecutive year
- Noah Clowney had a good night for the Long Island Nets. He scored 23 points, had 11 rebounds and an assist in a 110-106 victory over the Indiana Mad Ants.

Joe Gaither oversees videos and podcasts for Alabama Crimson Tide On SI/BamaCentral.
