The women's 200 medley relay team of Gaby Van Brunt, Avery Wiseman, Kailyn Winter and Cadence Vincent combined for a 1:36.18 to finish 16th overall and earn Second Team All-America honors in the race.
After opening night Alabama is 20th with two points.

Alabama golfer Johnathan Griz was named SEC Men's Golfer of the Week

Griz earned his first collegiate victory leading Alabama to the team title at the Linger Longer Invitational for a second consecutive year

Noah Clowney had a good night for the Long Island Nets. He scored 23 points, had 11 rebounds and an assist in a 110-106 victory over the Indiana Mad Ants.
