The Alabama Crimson Tide received commitments on Sunday from German Justin Okoronkwo and from Californian Zabien Brown. What do these prospects add to the current classs?
Gaither starts with Brown and breaks down the skillset shown on the Mater Dei highlight reel. The Monarch becomes the Tide's third cornerback in the current class, likely finalizing the position for 2024. Brown is undersized but there's a lot to like when watching his game film.
Okoronkwo is the deeper unknown as he plays his football in Germany. The 19-year old athlete has played all over the field for the Nuremberg Rams, making him an intriguing prospect going forward. What traits does he have that Nick Saban went all the way around the world to get him? How should Alabama fans react that the Tide is signing its second foreign player in consecutive years?
Recruiting wasn't done there as the Crimson Tide is in the market for an offensive lineman. Casey Poe out of Texas is committing to college on Wednesday so the program focused on his skillsets and final schools.
