Bama in the NFL, Cutdown Day Tracker: First Players Added to Practice Squads
The National Football League is finishing up its preseason, which means it's time for all 32 teams to set their rosters for the upcoming seasons.
There's only one roster cut deadline this year: Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. ET. Teams have to get from the offseason allowance of 90 players down to a working roster of 53.
That'll be followed by the signing of practice squads, and tweaking of the roster as players will be signed as free agents, etc.
As always, BamaCentral keeps track of all transactions of former players and a continual list of who's active and inactive on NFL teams. Or, one can simply do a search for "Bama in the NFL" to access the ultimate Alabama Crimson Tide in the NFL database.
