The Buffalo Bills are signing former New England Patriots running back Damien Harris to a one-year deal, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Alabama football product signed with Buffalo shortly after Devin Singletary, the Bills primary running back, joined the Houston Texans.

Harris joins a Buffalo team that is considered among the best in the NFL. They are elite on both sides of the ball, but have lacked a consistent running back room the past couple of years.

Harris broke out in 2021 after rushing for 929 yards and 15 touchdowns. However, he battled injuries throughout the 2022 season as backup running back Rhamondre Stevenson thrived in Harris' former role.

Joining a top-tier team could get Harris back in his groove, which would fix one of the Bills main weakness. Harris could be the missing piece to Buffalo's first ring.
