Alabama Basketball's Latrell Wrightsell Still Day-to-Day Before Florida Matchup

In this story:
The No. 16 Alabama Crimson Tide basketball program is looking to bounce back on Tuesday against the Florida Gators in Gainesville after taking a tough loss to the No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday night.
Saturday's defeat was the Crimson Tide's fourth game without sharpshooting transfer guard Latrell Wrightsell as he's been out with a head injury. It appears the veteran guard's status remains the same ahead of Alabama's Tuesday trip.
"Yeah, he's been doing some basketball skill. He's got to get to the point where he can practice and not have any type of headache the following day. He was on a comeback protocol and then it got reset because he had a setback in it," said Alabama head coach Nate Oats on Monday. "It would be nice to get him back. Again, it's day-to-day. We've got to see how he's able to respond the next morning because once they go back to having a headache they kind of start at day zero again. As you can tell he can shoot, he wasn't doing anything live yet then."
Wrightsell has been the Crimson Tide's second best 3-point shooter this season, converting at 44-percent from behind the line. He was seen before Saturday's game on the court in Coleman Coliseum participating in shooting drills.

Alabama has leaned even heavier on Mark Sears and Aaron Estrada in Wrightsell's absence but the Crimson Tide's three of 20 finish from the field on Saturday night suggests fatigue is catching up with the Alabama backcourt.
