In a crucial conference series, Alabama Softball (26-8, 3-6 SEC) is set to face off against the Ole Miss Rebels (20-14, 3-9 SEC), with both teams eager to reverse their recent fortunes. The Crimson Tide, coming off a challenging weekend series where they were narrowly defeated by the Kentucky Wildcats in a three-game set, is still in search of their first series win within the SEC this season. Ole Miss, on the other hand, is facing its own set of challenges, currently embroiled in a six-game losing streak.

Series history: Alabama leads 65-7

Last meeting: Alabama won the series last season in Oxford, but the Rebels salvaged a game in the series finale with a 5-4 win in the 2023 regular season finale. Montana Fouts threw a perfect game in the series opener. The Crimson Tide was three outs away from away from a series sweep, but Ole Miss scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh for a walk-off comeback.

Last time out, Alabama: The Crimson Tide dropped a weekend series to the Kentucky Wildcats, failing to secure their first series victory of the season in the SEC, with their most recent loss coming at the hands of a 4-3, eight-inning defeat on Saturday.

Last time out, Ole Miss: The Rebels are currently mired in a six-game losing streak, dropping back-to-back three game sets with the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks, respectively.
