Latrell Wrightsell Jr. Will Play in Final Four Against UConn: 'I'm 100 Percent'

PHOENIX — Alabama received some positive injury news Friday afternoon. Outside of Davin Cosby Jr., the Crimson Tide should be at full strenght for Saturday's Final Four matchup against No. 1 UConn.
Senior guard Latrell Wright Jr. will play against the Huskies as first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. He has missed the last two games with a head injury.
"I’m 100 percent," Wrightsell said before practice on Friday. "I think I’m ready to go for tomorrow.”
Wrightsell missed four games in the final weeks of the regular season with a head injury. He played limited minutes at Florida on March 5. He was then in the starting lineup for Alabama's next four games, including the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. But he only played 11 minutes in the Round of 32 win over Grand Canyon before exiting because of a re-aggrevation of the head injury.
"We made it through injury-free, so I think as long as we can get through today's practice injury-free, we should be healthy for the first time in a while," Alabama head coach Nate Oats said. "We're going to need to be healthy. Going to need to use our depth against UConn."
Wrightsell has paritcipated in all of the team's practices in Phoenix. The transfer guard has averaged nine points and three rebounds per game for the Crimson Tide this season. Alabama is undeated in games when Wrightsell scores 10 points or more.
No. 4 Alabama will face No. 1 UConn in the Final Four Saturday at 7:49 p.m. on TBS.
