LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Grayson Wilson is only ranked as the No. 34 overall quarterback in the class, according to 247Sports, but his stock may rise after a solid performance at the U.S. Army Bowl Combine the past weekend. The Central Arkansas Christian player was one of over 70 quarterbacks competing at the camp, finishing with the second highest score at his position.

Wilson's performance was good enough to receive an invite to the 2025 U.S. Army Bowl game in Frisco, Texas, and could be coached by former Arkansas coaching great Houston Nutt.

As a junior, Wilson made great strides being mentored by former Missouri assistant and first year coach, Ryan Howard. He led his Mustangs to a 9-3 overall record and deep playoff run, passing for 3,413 yards passing, 41 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Wilson tacked on another 837 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.

The momentum from a stellar 2023 season bled over to a successful offseason so far with his confidence growing.

"I threw well this weekend at the Army Bowl Combine," Wilson said. "I really stepped up the last day of competition when it was more one-on-one. The whole experience was really first class."

During one-on-one work, Wilson mentioned how he felt his talent was setting him apart from others due to his quick movement and technique.

"The last day we did more footwork and movement drills as well throwing on the run," Wilson said. "We also worked on timing drills. I think I set myself apart when we started throwing on the run and the pocket movement drills. Coaches were impressed with my ability to get the ball out on time with accuracy."

Recruiting reporter Tom Lemming shared that Wilson has grown a bit throughout the fall as he measured at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds over the weekend. The 2025 class is off to a solid start with 4-star running back Jamarion Parker and kicker Evan Noel already committed. The Razorbacks are ranked No. 27 in the country and No. 8 in the SEC, per 247sports.
