Auburn linebacker Austin Keys injured his thumb against UMass and it will require surgery

In this story:
Auburn linebacker Austin Keys injured his thumb against the UMass Minutemen and the injury will require surgery.
According to Coach Freeze, this injury will have him "out a while."
The Ole Miss transfer played 18 snaps against UMass. Someone is going to have to step up for this Auburn team or this defense is in trouble.
Players like Larry Nixon and Eugene Asante will have to step up for the Auburn Tigers; otherwise, this will be a massive loss.
Stopping the run will be a big part of Auburn taking down Cal on Saturday, so one of the previously listed names will need to fill the hole left by the Keys injury.
Hopefully, the surgery and rehab go smoothly, and Keys will be back on the field for Ron Robert's defense sooner than later.
