Justin Rogers was named to the Outland Trophy watchlist

In this story:
The Outland Trophy is awarded to the best interior defensive lineman in college football and was first given out in 1946.
Auburn defensive lineman Justin Rogers who transferred in from Kentucky, was named to the watchlist for this award.
Rogers was the 52nd-best player in the 2020 class, so he clearly has a ton of talent.
The six-foot-three, 346-pound defensive lineman is in for a big season in his first year on the Plains.
One thing that came as a bit of a surprise is that Jayson Jones was not listed on the Outland Trophy watchlist.
Jones is definitely a player that could be on the midseason watchlist for this prestigious award.
Both Rogers and Jones will be a big part of the success of this Auburn football team in 2023.
