WATCH: Auburn QB Robby Ashford runs first-team offense during practice

In this story:
Auburn quarterback Robby Ashford got a chance to run with the first-team offense against air during Tuesday's fall camp practice media window.
The incumbent starter ran a mix of run and pass plays, including a deep throw to Nick Mardner.
Ashford has yet to separate himself from redshirt freshman Holden Geriner in the quarterback competition, even moving down to run with the third-team during some media viewing window drills.
You can watch the drill below.
Hugh Freeze, known to develop quarterbacks well, should be able to elevate Ashford's passing game. If the Tigers decide to ride with him as starter, and Freeze is able to round him out as a true quarterback, he could be a serious problem in the SEC this season.
The athleticism is more than there. Polishing up his mechanics is the next step.
