Elijah McAllister on Jalen McLeod: "I'm excited for you guys to see him in Jordan-Hare Stadium"

Elijah McAllister joined the Locked On Auburn Podcast at SEC Media Days to discuss the upcoming 2023 football season.

McAllister was asked about fellow transfer JACK Jalen McLeod and what he has seen from him so far.

Here was McAllister's response, "Super athletic, super twitchy, can rush the passer with the best of them. I'm excited for you guys to see him in Jordan-Hare stadium. I'm excited for you guys to get a feel for who he is as a person and a player because that kid is talented. He's a friend. He's a guy that I know continues to learn in terms of pass rush, and he knows how to be a better rusher as well. He's a guy that's talented and is going to get some sacks for us this year."

McLeod and McAllister will be two of Auburn's primary pass rushers, so it was good to hear McAllister praising his teammate.

If Auburn wants to have a good 2023 season on the field, these two will need to get in the opposing team's backfield multiple times per game.
