2026 Quarterback Donovan Moorhead Prospect Recaps Cincinnati Bearcats Visit

Tons of good things to note for this prospect.

TUNNEL HILL — The Cincinnati Bearcats have been actively recruiting quarterbacks in many recruiting classes. They had another one on campus for a visit.

Donovan Moorhead is a 2026 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback from Hawken High School in Gate Mills, Ohio. He is not ranked on a major service. See what he had to say about his visit experience below.

“The visit was great,” Moorhead stated to Bearcats Talk. “I like Cincinnati a lot. I hope to be up again for a camp. How well the scheme fits into what they did on the field during practice is what caught my eye. Also, there are lots of chances to make big time throws down the field and for playmaking abilities.

“The overall feeling with players, coaches, and scheme and how invested they are in the future. That is what makes the Cincinnati Bearcats unique. I had the chance to speak with Coach Pete Thomas. He is the QB coach and also the coach I talked to a lot of the time on my visit.”

Moorhead was impressed overall by his time in Clifton.

“This visit definitely exceeded my expectations with the new facility that they are making and scheme-wise.’’
