Game Day Preview: Cincinnati Bearcats at West Virginia Mountaineers

TUNNEL HILL — The Cincinnati Bearcats take on the West Virginia Mountaineers on Wednesday night.
The Bearcats are entering this game with a record of 14-6. They're hoping to win their second-straight game following a tough two-game stretch against the Oklahoma Sooners and the Kansas Jayhawks.
The Mountaineers are 7-13 on the season and are currently on a two-game losing streak following losses against UCF and Oklahoma State.

Senior Quinn Slazinski leads the way for West Virginia. He averages 13.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Raequan Battle is another key piece for the Mountaineers. He's averaging 16.3 points and 4.5 rebounds in 10 games of action.
This is the first matchup for these two teams of the season. They'll also face off on March 9. Cincinnati is hoping to keep pace in a tough Big 12 conference. They're currently 3-4 in the league.
Wes Miller's squad is hoping to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019.
