UC Basketball Slotted 53rd Nationally in KenPom's Preseason Ratings
CINCINNATI — The 2023-24 preseason KenPom rankings are now live and UC men's basketball has stayed pretty stable. They rank 53rd in the country and 11th among Big 12 teams. The program finished 2022-23 ranked 50th nationally.
West Virginia (64), Oklahoma State (68), and UCF (72) were the Big 12 teams ranked below Cincinnati.
UC's adjusted offense sits at 70th overall and its adjusted defense is expected to be stronger at No. 36, with a quicker tempo than average (119th nationally).
It's unknown whether this ranking includes the two transfer big men still awaiting NCAA waivers (Jamille Reynolds/Aziz Bandaogo).
