PFF Grades Ivan Pace Jr. Inside Top-15 Rookies as NFL Season Rolls On
CINCINNATI — Former UC football star Ivan Pace Jr. is still inside the top 15 highest-graded rookies by Pro Football Focus this season despite the Vikings linebacker getting snaps taken away by Brian Asamoah. Pace sits 12th on the latest check-in.
Pace still leads all rookie linebackers with 10 pressures as the season approaches the midway point.
"While Pace is incredibly talented, his role continues to diminish due to Brian Asamoah‘s return to the lineup, and he has played just 17 snaps over his last two games," Mason Cameron wrote. "Regardless of recent volume, Pace has emerged as an incredible pass-rushing linebacker, having earned the most pressures (10) and third-highest grade (90.0) at the position."
Pace has played 50 defensive snaps combined over the past two games after clearing 50 snaps in every game before Asamoah's ramp-up.
