The sophomore WR posted 18 catches for 369 yards and 2 touchdowns last season. He has two years of eligibility left at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds.
He did not participate in the SMU Spring Period due to an off-season surgery.
Goffney would add some more athleticism to UC's receiver room after ranking 404th among WRs nationwide in PFF grading last season (66.6 receiving grade, fourth on SMU)
SMU WR Dylan Goffney finally getting some serious playing time loved seeing his involvement early in the game.

The grad transfer has two years of eligibility left after posting 66 tackles (10.5 TFLs), 3 sacks, and 2 pass breakups for the Division II Bulldogs last season.
Near is a thumper at 6-foot-2, 234 pounds, and could be a nice attacker in Bryan Brown's downhill defense.
