Report: Cincinnati Running Backs Coach De’Rail Sims Accepts Tennessee Job

Sims had followed Scott Satterfield over From Louisville.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bearcats running backs coach De'Rail Sims is heading to Tennessee to replace running backs coach Jerry Mack.

247Sports's Matt Zenitz was the first to report the news after Sims had followed Scott Satterfield over from Louisville.

Sims was part of huge strides in the run game for Cincinnati and will be a huge loss for this team as they look to replace him moving forward.

He helped Cincinnati rank top-five nationally in rushing last season and was a key part of Corey Kiner's strong 1,000-yard campaign. It's a good sign for Satterfield's staff-building prowess that his assistants are leaving for SEC and NFL positions.
