The Athletic Ranks UC Among Top-45 Teams Nationally After Pitt Win

Cincinnati is off to a great start in the 2023 season.

CINCINNATI — The Athletic released its weekly college football team rankings and Cincinnati moved up 25 spots from No. 67 to No. 42 after a clutch 27-21 road win over Pittsburgh.

That slots Cincinnati seventh among Big 12 teams as they continue to climb up the hierarchy in non-conference play before welcoming Oklahoma to Nippert Stadium for the Big 12 opener.

UC received multiple votes in the AP and Coach's Polls this week, setting them up for a Top-25 ranking if they start 4-0.
