Watch: Luke Fickell Arrives In Wisconsin, Makes First Statement As Badgers' Head Coach

The winningest coach in UC history wasted little time taking over at Wisconsin following the end of UC's AAC Title chances.

CINCINNATI — Former Bearcats head football coach Luke Fickell has officially been named the new coach at Wisconsin.

Fickell signed a contract extension at UC last offseason, but he's now the head man at Wisco following the end of the Paul Chryst era.

Check out the first moment he arrived in Madison, WI, and his statement on taking the job.

"My family and I are thrilled to join the Wisconsin family," Fickell said in a statement. "This is a destination job at a program that I have admired from afar for years. I am in total alignment with Chris McIntosh's vision for this program. There is a tremendous foundation here that I can't wait to build upon. This world-class university, athletic department, and passionately loyal fan base all have a strong commitment to success and I can't wait to be a part of it."
