Recruiting Roundup: Cincinnati Offers Top-10 2023 Quarterback, Four Other Players
CINCINNATI — Luke Fickell and the Bearcats targeted a mishmash of positions with their latest recruiting offers. Things kick off with four-star 2024 linebacker Timajay Hayes.
The Eau Gallie (Fla.) linebacker is rated as four-star by Rivals and holds 21 offers from schools like Arkansas, Florida, and Georgia Tech. Check out his highlights here.
Next on the offer list is 2023 three-star linebacker Troy Ford Jr. out of Calvary Day (Ga.).
According to 247Sports, Ford is the 37th-ranked linebacker and 467th-ranked player overall. He holds 16 offers from schools like Auburn, Indiana, and Iowa State. Check out his highlights here.
A quarterback popped up on Cincinnati's radar this week as well. UC offered four-star 2023 quarterback Dylan Lonergan out of Brookwood (Ga.).
Lonergan would be the highest-ranked recruit in team history if he signed with Cincinnati. According to 247Sports, Lonergan is the ninth-ranked quarterback in the 2023 class and 86th overall. He holds an 86 grade on the ESPN 300, ranking 44th on the list, and is the site's fifth-best pocket passer.
He holds 24 offers from schools like Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn. Check out his highlights here.
Wide receiver Nakai Poole checks in next on the list of 2023 offers. The three-star playmaker is sharpening his skills at Norcross (Ga.).
Poole is a three-star prospect on Rivals and holds 15 offers from schools like LSU, Virginia, and Kansas State. Check out his highlights here.
Last but not least we have four-star 2024 offensive tackle Daniel Calhoun out of Centennial (Ga.).
Calhoun is 247Sports's second-ranked tackle and 74th player overall. He holds 24 offers from schools like Georgia, Florida State, and Alabama. Check out his highlights here.
