Recruiting Roundup: UC In Four-Star 2023 Cornerback Amare Snowden's Top Five, 2023 Commit Jayden Davis Balls Out In Army Bowl

CINCINNATI — A couple of intriguing recruiting nuggets landed around Bearcats football this weekend starting with four-star 2023 de-commit Amare Snowden.

The cornerback has UC in his final five schools, along with Colorado, Wisconsin, Howard, and West Virginia.

According to 247Sports Composite, Snowden is the 426th-ranked recruit in 2023 and the 41st-ranked cornerback.

He committed to UC back in June but got cold feet when Luke Fickell left for Wisconsin. Now, Cincinnati has worked back into the mix and will get its final answer on National Signing Day.

Snowden has some initial trouble with a quick first step from receivers, but his frame and athleticism are making up for that at Roseville. Mix in a nasty edge in open-field tackling and an unteachable knack for tracking/intercepting the ball and you get another tantalizing cornerback prospect that may choose Clifton.

From a potential commit to one UC just flipped from Louisville.

Three-star 2023 defensive back Jayden Davis lit up the 2022 All-American Bowl on Saturday.
