Top 2023 UC Target Amare Snowden Places Bearcats in Top-Six Schools
CINCINNATI — One of the Bearcats' top targets in the 2023 class placed UC in their top-six schools. 2023 four-star cornerback Amare Snowden out of Roseville (Michigan) is liking what Luke Fickell's squad is pitching.
According to 247Sports consensus, Snowden is the 327th-ranked player in the class and the 34th-ranked cornerback. This is quite the endorsement of Cincinnati, seeing as Snowden has over 40 offers. The other five schools in his final group are Howard, Kentucky, Penn State, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
At 6-foot-3, 187 pounds, Gardner has a similar frame to former three-star recruit Ahmad Gardner, and he surely hopes to have a similar career.
Snowden has some initial trouble with a quick first step from receivers, but his frame and athleticism are making up for that at Roseville. Mix in a nasty edge in open-field tackling and an unteachable knack for tracking/intercepting the ball and you get another tantalizing cornerback prospect that could be headed to Clifton.
