Report: Cincinnati Bearcats DT Jowon Briggs Meeting With Bengals, Other NFL Teams
Cincinnati is hoping to see Briggs get drafted this year.
CINCINNATI — The Bengals and a few other NFL teams are meeting with former Bearcats defensive tackle Jowon Briggs ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Briggs set the class mark in bench press reps at the Big 12 Pro Day and could be the latest Bearcats drafted to the NFL towards the end of the session.
Briggs played at different weights and all over the alignment at Cincinnati while producing at each spot. It should be a boon for his NFL hopes and the Bengals in particular really need depth help along the defensive line.
The 2024 NFL Draft has 257 picks and Briggs is currently 333rd on the consensus big board.
