The Georgia Bulldogs have experienced some losses to the transfer portal since the season came to an end Somto Cyril, Dylan James, Jackson McVey and Jeremiah Wilkinson have all announced their plans to enter the portal. However, it looks like Georgia has made its first addition of the offseason.

Kemauri Millender, the brother of Marcus "Smurf" Millender, has announced that he has committed to Georgia. He has spent the last two years playing JUCO ball and now will play for the Bulldogs with his brother.

At the JUCO level, Millender averaged 13 points per game and shot 35 percent from behind the three point line. This past season, he made first team all-conference and was a Top 100 player in NJACC.

Smurf Millender recently announced that he would be coming back to play for Georgia next season. In fact, he was the first player to make his return to Athens official. He was a major piece to Georgia's roster this past season and ended up overtaking the starting role at point guard late in the season. He averaged 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field.

Georgia went through a lot of roster changes last year as well. Outside of a few returning players, the Bulldogs relied on the transfer portal and their incoming freshmen to help carry the Bulldogs back to the tournament.

That plan ended up being a success as Georgia won the most regular season games in program history and made the NCAA tournament for the second year in a row, but the season ended in another first round exit.

The losses of Cyril, Wilkinson and James all can viewed as major losses. All three players were contributors this past season and would have been viewed as massive retentions had they stayed in Athens. With them expected to leave though, Georgia will have to look elsewhere to replace the production.

It should be noted that the transfer portal does not officially open until April 7th, afeyr the national championship game is played. The portal will remain open until April 21st. The rules also state that if a head coach leaves a program, those players are also given a 15 day window to enter the portal.
