Georgia Tech outfielder Jake DeLeo is officially off the board in the 2023 MLB Draft.

DeLeo was taken by the Miami Marlins this afternoon in the sixth round of the 2023 MLB Draft after being one of the top hitters in the Yellow Jackets' lineup last season. He hit .365 this past season with 14 home runs and 53 RBIs.

Before he came to Atlanta, DeLeo was one of the top outfielder prospects in the nation.

DeLeo becomes the latest Yellow Jacket to be selected today. Yesterday, Georgia Tech signee Tai Peete was selected by the Seattle Mariners and today, signees Antonio Anderson and Isaiah Drake were picked by the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves, respectfully. Second baseman Kristian Campbell was also selected by the Red Sox earlier today.
