Game Time, Betting Lines set for Texas Tech at Kansas

In this story:
After a gritty victory on the road against Iowa State, the Kansas Jayhawks are back in business in the Big 12 conference race. And with the end of this week's slate, all of the game times have been announced for this week. It's another early start for the Jayhawks, but they get the timeslot all to themselves.

Some other games to keep an eye on involve the other teams in the conference race. Can Oklahoma State avoid being a let down victim against a UCF team that finally got win? Will West Virginia continue the woes for the Sooners? Can Iowa State get back on track in Provo? The betting lines are out for these games, and it seems like at least one of those is expected to cause some intrigue.

UCF (+1) vs Oklahoma State
Kansas (-3) vs Texas Tech
BYU (+9) vs Iowa State
Kansas State (-16) vs Baylor
Oklahoma (-13) vs West Virginia
TCU (+9) vs Texas
Houston (-3) vs Cincinnati https://t.co/LYGB0ve0Ff
Oklahoma State is only a slim favorite over UCF on the road, which seems a bit counterintuitive at first. But the Knights have dealt with some pretty bad luck, with a roster that should be quite a bit better than it has performed.
As for Kansas, I'm a bit surprised that they are only listed as a 3-point favorite. The betting public seems to agree, as the line is up to 4 only a few hours later. And with the way that the Jayhawks were able to put their games away the last couple of weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if this game is much more lopsided then Vegas seems to expect.
The Jayhawks are 5-4 this season against the spread, while the Red Raiders are 4-5. The over has hit in four of the five games at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium this season. It's safe to say that you should expect to see a lot of points this Saturday, whether Kansas scores them all or if this one is a bit closer than expected.
