Kentucky Makes Top 11 for 4-Star 2024 DL Brandon Davis-Swain

In this story:
Kentucky football has already added two commits to its 2024 class, both of whom are in-state offensive linemen.
Both 3-stars, Hayes Johnson and Aba Selm will look to contribute to the rebuilding of the Big Blue Wall upon their arrival to Lexington. The Wildcats will also seek some help on the other side of the trenches.
On Monday night, a sought-after defensive lineman recruit trimmed his list, including Kentucky along with some heavy hitters.
4-star Brandon Davis-Swain is ranked as the No. 75 player and No. 9 DL in the 2024 class, per the On3 Consensus. Rivals is particularly high on the prospect, ranking him as the No. 36 player in the class.
Davis-Swain is still considering UK, as well as the following programs:
- Purdue
- Penn State
- Michigan
- Colorado
- Pittsburgh
- Tennessee
- Auburn
- Notre Dame
- Wisconsin
- USC

The West Bloomfield, Mich. product has taken four unofficial visits to Notre Dame and three to Michigan. He was previously committed to the Fighting Irish, but backed off on Dec. 11.
Since then, he's taken a visit to Boulder to see new high-profile head coach Deion Sanders and Colorado. Kentucky doesn't appear to be a frontrunner, but its managed to stay in the mix for the 6-foot-3, 240-pounder.
This past season, Davis-Swain racked up 65 tackles, 33 quarterback hurries, 31 tackles-for-loss, 12 sacks, two pass deflections and a pair of forced fumbles.
The Cats offered Davis-Swain back in May 2021. Coach Mark Stoops and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow have done well in the state of Michigan in the past, so you can't ever count UK out.
