Michigan Wolverines defensive lineman Mason Graham has received high praise throughout the NFL Draft process. Analysts have all agreed that he is a top 10 talent, with some saying he may be the purest football talent in the draft class. Those are pretty strong words when you consider the most talented two-way player in decades, Travis Hunter, is also a member of this 2025 NFL Draft.

Graham showed an ability to control a game from his defensive line position during his time in Ann Arbor. His game tape shows him as an absolute bully who used strength, speed, and impeccable technique to disrupt offenses every time he stepped onto the field. With a slew of teams high on Graham and his ability, it looks like the New York Jets are among those who are considering Graham as the first round selection. On Monday, NFL insider Ian Rapaport reported that Graham is visiting with the Jets organization again this week.

The Jets own the 7th overall pick in this year's draft, so they are legit contenders to secure the draft rights to the former Michigan standout.

Players like Graham not only make a team better between the lines, but they're also locker room assets as well. Nobody will outwork Graham, and he will lead by example - just as he did in Ann Arbor. The Jets will not have to worry about the bright lights of the big city distracting Graham from the mission at hand. If he is still on the board at seven, the Jets would be foolish to pass him by.
