The Mississippi State softball team continued its success from Week 8 with a dominant 14-0 victory over UAB in a run-ruling five innings on April 3.

Additionally, the then-No. 16 Bulldogs defeated the then-No. 22 South Carolina Gamecocks in each of the first two matchups of the series by a combined score of 10-0. However, Mississippi State couldn't finish the week strong as it fell to South Carolina 3-1 in the final game of the series.
