California Pass Catcher Jason Robinson Jr. Includes Notre Dame In Top Ten Schools

Notre Dame has already put together a tremendous three-man wide receiver class in 2024 with commits Cam Williams, Isiah Canion and Micah Gilbert. The staff is also in a great position with Long Beach (Calif.) Poly wide receiver Jason Robinson Jr., who included the Irish amongst his top ten schools list on Friday.

The Fighting Irish were joined by Penn State, USC, Florida State, Utah, Washington, Colorado, Cal, Syracuse and Pittsburgh.

Robinson is considered a four-star recruit by Rivals. They rank as the No. 41 wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 23 player in the state of California. The 5-10, 170-pound pass catcher is currently ranked as the No. 407 overall player and No. 58 wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class on the 247Sports composite ranking.

The Long Beach Poly standout came off a strong season as a sophomore in which he racked up 1,007 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 63 receptions for the 11-4 squad. He also finished second on the team with 16 yards per reception, showcasing his big play ability.

As a junior, Robinson has another strong season. Although he was limited to eight games, the California standout hauled in 46 receptions for 671 yards and five touchdowns.

Notre Dame is wrestling with the idea of taking a fourth wide receiver in this class due to numbers. If they do, Robinson is the key target on the board. They continue to put themselves in great position with the California star.
