Notre Dame Makes Final Three For Elite LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa

In this story:
Notre Dame is hoping to land another big time linebacker haul, and the top player on the board - Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco star Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa - has named the Fighting Irish as one of his three finalists.
Notre Dame made the final three alongside Ohio State and USC.

Viliamu-Asa recently made a trip to Notre Dame for the Blue-Gold Game, which concluded the spring session. It was his second trip to South Bend in a year, and the Irish clearly made a strong impression on the talented linebacker.
Notre Dame has landed two strong linebacker classes in a row, but it's imperative the Irish land another. Viliamu-Asa is the key to making that happen and he's the top linebacker on board for the Irish in the 2024 class. He's a physical linebacker with impressive short-area quickness and he's very instinctive. He fits the Irish defense and can play both inside backer positions.
Ohio State and USC have also been pushing for Viliamu-Asa for some time. In fact, Notre Dame defensive line coach Al Washington began recruiting him for the Buckeyes prior to coming to coach for the Fighting Irish. That connection remains a key for Notre Dame as they look to win this very important recruiting battle.
Viliamu-Asa is ranked as the nation's No. 60 overall player and No. 3 inside linebacker by Rivals, and the No. 69 overall player and No. 6 linebacker by 247Sports. He earned a 4.0-star grade and a Top 100 caliber ranking on the Irish Breakdown board.
The St. John Bosco star earned offers from the Fighting Irish as well as Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Oregon, Miami (Fla.), UCLA, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Auburn, Louisville, Michigan State, Boston College, Oregon State, Arizona and Kansas.
