Star 2026 Quarterback Brady Hart Loves Notre Dame
On Wednesday, Notre Dame added yet another talented 2026 quarterback to the board. The Irish staff extended an offer to Cocoa (Fla.) High School standout signal caller Brady Hart, who is the seventh quarterback who has been offered by the team.
Hart is coming off of a tremendous sophomore campaign, which has garnered him a lot more attention on the recruiting side of things. The Florida native has received a flurry of offers recently but this one from Notre Dame was very special.
“Getting the offer was super exciting,” Hart told Irish Breakdown. “I’m so thankful for the opportunity God has blessed me with and am thankful for the people around me that have developed me into the player I am today.
“I love Notre Dame’s program,” Hart continued. “They have so much history as a program and it is a special place.”
With so much recent attention, Hart has continued to maintain composure and enjoy his moment. Things promise to get hectic moving forward, although there is no rush to make any impulse decisions.
“Recruiting has been on fire lately,” he said. “I have been offered recently by schools such as Notre Dame, Arkansas, UNC and Penn State. It has been exciting.
“I haven’t made a decision on when I will plan on committing yet,” Hart added. “I’m just taking everything in right now and enjoying the process.”
The 6-5, 185-pound signal caller has been pulling in several impressive offers during and after his standout junior campaign. Some of the top schools who have offered so far include Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas A&M, UNC, Arkansas, Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Pitt, and Indiana among others.
Hart was a main catalyst for a talented Cocoa team that finished with a 14-1 overall record in 2023. The sophomore quarterback threw for 3,759 yards and 41 touchdowns. Hart also completed 66 percent of his passes and averaged over 250 passing yards per game.
