Oklahoma DB Daeh McCullough to Enter Transfer Portal

After one year in Norman, Sooners’ freshman defensive back Daeh McCullough has decided to enter the transfer portal, Hayes Fawcett reports.

Former 4-star recruit and Oklahoma safety Daeh McCullough has entered the transfer portal after one season in Norman.

The 6-foot-1, 181-pound defensive back made one appearance as a true freshman, playing in the Sooners’ season opener against Arkansas State.

Hailing from South Bend, IN, McCullough is the younger brother of former Indiana transfer and current Oklahoma linebacker Dasan McCullough. After Dasan announced that he was headed to Norman, Daeh followed suit, committing the same day.

The younger McCullough brother was a 4-star recruit, rated one of the top 31 safeties in the 2023 recruiting class.

McCullough is the second Sooners’ defensive back to enter the transfer portal since it opened on Dec. 4, joining Key Lawrence, who announced his commitment to Mississippi on Dec. 14.

Since McCullough played only one game for OU this season, the first-year DB will have four years of eligibility remaining.
