Randle hit his home run in the fifth inning after a lengthy at bat, muscling a 3-2 pitch over the fence in right field to make it 5-1.

Florida answered with a two-RBI home run of their own in the bottom of the fifth to cut the lead to two runs.
Ole Miss added another run in the sixth inning as Judd Utermark and Furniss traded doubles to make it 6-3.
Florida would put up another run in the eighth on a solo shot but that would be all for the Gators as Hooks shut the door the rest of the way.
