Ole Miss Football Eyeing Pivotal Visit With Dynamic Notre Dame, Alabama Target

In this story:
Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) four-star linebacker Kenneth Simon II will be back in Oxford this weekend on an unofficial visit with Pete Golding and the Ole Miss Rebels as the coaching staff turns up the heat this offseason.
In what has become a critical stretch for Simon, the dynamic defender is on the backend of his spring visit tour with recent trips to see the Georgia Bulldogs, Tennessee Volunteers, and Alabama Crimson Tide.
Now, two visits remain on the docket for the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder that checks in as a Top-10 linebacker in the 2027 Recruiting Cycle.
Simon will visit Ole Miss this weekend followed by an unofficial trip to South Bend for a check-in with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Marcus Freeman.
Ole Miss has intensified its pursuit for the "three-down" linebacker that continues to ascend this offseason as one of the most dynamic defenders in America.
"Modern 3-4 linebacker projection with the athleticism, physicality and awareness to play all three downs," 247Sports wrote of Simon. "Began prep career as a safety, but got more and more snaps in the box as a junior for a Brentwood Academy squad that captured a Tennessee Division II-AA championship.
As a commitment inches closer, elite LB Kenneth Simon II locks in 5 key spring visits.

"Can be dangerous on the blitz with his get-off and will dip around tackles.-Might not be the biggest, but is the son of a former NFL defender, which suggests that he’s likely only going to get bigger.-Projects at this stage as a versatile piece for a Power Four defense that can help limit the run and pass."
Now, an unofficial visit to Oxford this weekend where the coaching staff will look to once again roll out the red carpet for Simon after a busy visit schedule:
- Georgia Bulldogs: March 21
- Tennessee Volunteers: March 28
- Alabama Crimson Tide: March 30
- Ole Miss Rebels: April 3
- Notre Dame Fighting Irish: April 18
Simon will be alongside multiple impressive prospects this weekend in the Magnolia State with the Ole Miss coaching staff gearing up for another big-time stretch on campus.
