All-In: How to Bet Oregon vs. Nevada Matchup on Saturday

Looking to allocate some capital? We can help you out. The Ducks are listed as massive favorites against the Wolf Pack, but that doesn't mean that they'll cover the spread.

The Oregon Ducks will play host to the Nevada Wolfpack  Saturday at 4:30 p.m. PT at Autzen Stadium.

The Ducks are coming off of a heartbreaking loss to the Auburn Tigers in AT&T Stadium last Saturday, in which they blew a lead with nine seconds left. Nevada, on the other hand, etched out a 34-31 win over the Purdue Boilermakers to open their season on a high note.

Betting Trends

  • Oregon finished the 2018 season with a 9-4 straight up 5-8 against the spread record. Its late blown lead to Auburn starts the Ducks at 0-1 SU/0-1 ATS this season.
  • Nevada had an upset win over Purdue last week, in which it covered a +10 spread and picked up a SU victory. The Wolfpack is now 6-2 ATS in its last eight games.
  • The Ducks are 6-0 SU against Nevada, with a 2-2 ATS record.
  • The total has gone under in seven of Nevada’s last 10 games.

Prediction

Oregon 48, Nevada 17

Moneyline

Don't even think about it. Most sites aren't even offering the moneyline with a spread so high.

Against the Spread

The Oregon Ducks (-24.5, -110) will be out for blood Saturday after suffering a humiliating loss in which they crumbled late against Auburn on a national stage. The Wolfpack (+24.5, -110) had an impressive Week 1 win against Purdue, but it just doesn’t have the firepower to run with Oregon, and the Ducks’ defense was lights-out in their Week 1 matchup. Twenty-four points may seem like a lot, but this game could get out of hand quickly if Oregon is to make a statement. Lay the points and collect the cash.

Over/Under

The OVER (61.5, -110) is where the smart money is at this week. Oregon has a unique ability to find chunk plays and put up points in a hurry. Nevada showed last week that it is no stranger to the endzone either. The Ducks defense will likely shut down Nevada early on, but a couple of garbage-time scores could send this one over and end up in the bad beats category. Don’t be on the wrong side, play what’s more likely to happen and bet the over.
