Oregon Football is laying the foundation to land a string of commitments on the recruiting trail here in the 2024 class.

After securing a commitment from Forney (Tex.) safety Aaron Flowers last week, the Ducks are in a great spot with numerous recruits ahead of their annual spring football game on April 29.

Oregon has received multiple 247Sports crystal ball predictions to land 2024 Salem (Ore.) West Salem offensive tackle Trent Ferguson. The most notable prediction came from national recruiting editor Brandon Huffman on Monday. Steve Wiltfong hopped in the boat as well, logging his Oregon pick on Tuesday, making it three total predictions in favor of the Ducks.

Ferguson stands at 6'7" and weighs 300 pounds. He's rated a three-star (0.8600) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 856 player nationally, the No. 70 offensive tackle and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Oregon.

The Ducks extended an offer to Ferguson in November when Adrian Klemm was still on staff and it was a big one for the lineman. Not only was it an offer from a big-time in-state program, but it was his first division one offer.

He visited Oregon in January and the Ducks look like they've continued to be in good standing.

Ferguson also holds offers from schools like Oregon State, Nevada and Washington State. He visited Boise State earlier this month and left campus with an offer from the Broncos.

Oregon has one commitment along the offensive line in the 2024 class and it's a good one. Fox Crader is a four-star offensive lineman out of Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington that committed to the Ducks in November.

He's blown up on the recruiting trail and has been visiting other schools in addition to Oregon this spring. A'lique Terry and his offensive line staff will need to battle to hold on to his commitment with storied programs like Georgia and Oklahoma giving chase.

Terry has yet to land a commitment since returning to the Oregon staff and winning in the trenches is a clear priority for Dan Lanning. Adding Ferguson would help win the battle at the line of scrimmage and keep top in-state talent home.

Ferguson has not set a commitment date, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him make it out to campus for a visit this month.
